Thailand relaxing some Covid rules for international travellers
Thailand will drop some Test & Go program requirements for international travellers from March 1. Fully vaccinated international travellers will only need to take one PCR test after arrival. The second day five test can be a self-administered antigen test.
A pre-travel PCR test within is still required. “This will reduce the expenses at quarantine facilities,” said Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration spokesperson Taweesin Wisanuyothin.
Additionally, the travel insurance coverage minimum was reduced from US$50,000 to US$20,000 starting from March 1.
