The Welsh’s go Gemini!
Sally and Chris Welsh were surprised at the age and mobility of the some of the passengers on board the SuperStar Gemini, but while they recognised that Star could probably do very little about that, except be more careful with their marketing, it had detracted from their cruise on the SuperStar Gemini between Fremantle and Sydney.
Having said that they were thrilled that they were safe from schoolies as a cruise was beyond their budget concluding that with this beng their first time on a cruise, perhaps it was not for them.
They also felt that the Gemini crusie was more laid back than they had expected, expecting more razamatazz, better entertainemt, more people like thme to meet and also perhaps bands playing when the Gemini arrived and departed ports, which they thought was lacking.
Chris told The Mole that he thought the food was terrific and plenty of it and also that the crew fabulous and the enterainment when it happened good but not enough of it! They also said that they thought the shore trips in port were too expensive.
They were impressed with the Gemini though saying that she was very clean and well maintained and the Star staff were always polishing, cleaning or painting something!
An on location report by The Mole from the SuperStar Gemini crusing around Australia.
