Thomas Cook offers online training for independents

Thomas Cook has launched a new online training programme specifically for independent travel agents focussed on its differentiated products which now make up nearly half of all its UK sales.

The online training comprises five 10-minute modules. Agents who complete the full course on www.thomascookexperts.com before August 17 will have a chance of winning a holiday for two to Fuerteventura, while the first 100 agents will receive a £5 gift voucher.

Commercial relations manager Bhavneeta Patel said: "Sales of our differentiated holidays have risen 10% over the past year and for this summer alone we have a brand new, market-leading Kids Club concept as well as a delicious new range of in-flight meals created by celebrity chef James Martin, so there is plenty that agents can learn which will be of key interest to their customers."

The five online modules focus on providing an overview to the brand, the differentiated product, the family offering in detail, Style collection and extras such as the new in-flight meals.
