Thomas Cook claims more than a million 2011 summer holidays are on offer at prices lower than this year.
The operator’s mainstream summer 2011 is released today (Wednesday) with the operator’s first preview brochure.
The move comes as wholly-owned brand Airtours also issues a family preview brochure for next summer (see separate TravelMole story).
Both companies have introduced Djerba in Tunisia with Thomas Cook featuring 13 hotels.
Thomas Cook has introduced FamilyWORLD at four resorts, offering age specific children’s clubs from crèches to teenagers, soccer schools and swimming lessons to family friendly menus and dedicated baby changing and chill out areas.
The operator’s ‘KidsWORLD’ children’s cubs will be offered in more than 55 properties.
A further six of the company’s water park-themed Aquamania Resorts are introduced in Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt and Florida.
Agents have access to 70% of Thomas Cook’s 2011 programme from today via viewdata or Thomas Cook call centres.
The summer 2011 programme will then go live on www.thomascook.com from May 6 with the full brochure range available from May 27.
Richard Calvert, joint managing director of Thomas Cook UK & Ireland mainstream travel, said: “With the popularity of North Africa at an all time high, it’s the ideal time to expand our programme.
“Djerba is an exciting addition for summer 2011, not only will it offer great value for money but it provides agents with a destination which has a European feel with a North African twist.”
