Thomas Cook scores with England

Thomas Cook Sport has become official travel supplier for the Official England Supporters Club, englandfans.

The appointment by the Football Association follows within days of the travel group’s sports division taking on travel arrangements for Chelsea.

Thomas Cook Sport will provide members exclusive travel options for England matches abroad, including the forthcoming qualifiers for Euro 2008, friendly matches and future fixtures.

Thomas Cook Sport will be inviting supporters to join the FA Holiday Club which will entitle members to discounts on other holidays booked through Thomas Cook.

Director Danny Talbot said: “We are delighted to be appointed as the official travel supplier for englandfans and will be providing a committed travel programme enabling fans to support England around the world. 

“This is the first of many exciting new initiatives we are kick starting through our partnership with the FA, and we encourage fans to keep an eye out so they can take advantage of the fantastic offers and competitions we have in store for them.”

Nicola Jones, senior englandfans officer for the England Supporters Club said: “The appointment of Thomas Cook Sport should provide The FA with the opportunity to offer competitive official travel packages to England supporters following the team around the world.”
