Thomas Cook Sport appointed for FIFA World Cup
Thomas Cook Sport has been appointed as a participating tour operator for the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
The operator said the appointment is a significant one because as well as offering Authorised Travel Packages to fans travelling from the UK, it will also sell packages through its offices in Germany, France, the Netherlands and Sweden.
Thomas Cook Sport is already an Official Licensed Operator for the British and Irish Lions tour to South Africa in 2009 and has established travel partnerships with most of Britain’s leading football clubs including, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Aston Villa.
Authorised Travel Packages for the 2010 FIFA World Cup are expected to be on sale in Summer 2009.
