Thomas Cook to handle travel for Scottish rugby teams
Thomas Cook’s sports division has been signed to manage the travel arrangements for Scotland’s rugby teams.
The contract covers teams of all levels, from senior Scotland men and women’s sides to all age-grade representative teams.
Thomas Cook’s specialist sports division already handles the travel arrangements for the Gallagher Premier League, Scottish and English Premiership football teams.
Toni Blackhurst, Scottish Rugby Union head of marketing and sponsorship, said: "Managing the travel arrangements of an entire playing squad, support staff and scores of kit bags and equipment on long-haul, cross-continental, or even local, European, travel is a huge logistical exercise. Teaming up with a partner with the scale, experience and expertise as Thomas Cook Sport is fantastic news for our teams."
