Thomson to offer extra legroom seats on shorter flights
Thomson Airways is to introduce extra legroom seats on a range of short and mid-haul routes this summer.
The roomier seats will be available on the airline’s 757 aircraft and, unlike exit row seats, can be booked for anyone, including children.
Bookable now and available for flights from 1 May, the seats offer between 33 and 34 inches of legroom.
Thomson has created the extra legroom seats, which cost from £35 per person for a return flight, by removing some of its existing seats.
Director of customer services Carl Gissing said: "We are continually looking at new ways to improve our in-flight products and service to ensure customers begin their holidays as relaxed as possible.
"Our new extra legroom seats are great for families and couples."
