Tidy move for Multicom
Former Thomas Cook e-commerce director Andy Tidy has become a non-executive director of travel software company Multicom.
The founder of Flexibletrips, Tidy was responsible for implementing Thomas Cook.com’s Starfish e-commerce platform.
He will work alongside managing director John Howell in an advisory capacity.
Tidy is to support planned growth and expansion through the introduction of new technology solutions currently in development and due for release.
His first task will be to support Multicom’s presence at next week’s Travel Technology Show in London.
Howell said: "Andy brings an enormous amount of business and e-commerce experience to compliment the skills of our core team.
“Andy joins us at an exciting time for Multicom with a range of new products and solutions soon to be brought to the market; his support and advice in both their development and roll out will be invaluable to us.”
Tidy said: "I have worked with Multicom in the past and have always been impressed by their technology, their honesty, and also their attention to customer service – a philosophy I have always subscribed to in business, and one that is sadly lacking in some technology companies.”
