TMS Asia-Pacific (TMS) has further expanded its international reach and gained a significant entry into the lucrative Middle East market following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Dubai-based The Hospitality Company this week.

TMS CEO, Gary Marshall described the new relationship as “a critical piece of the strategic jigsaw TMS needs to effectively cover Australia, New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East, the UK and Europe.”

The Hospitality Company is one of the Gulf region’s leading tourism and hospitality recruitment companies specialising in five star hotel, signature restaurant, travel and airline personnel placements.

Under the terms of the accord TMS and The Hospitality Company have agreed to cooperate on a wide number of proposals and strategies.

These include sharing of information, cooperation on research projects, promotional campaigns and particularly education and training.

Mr Marshall said while both companies stood to gain exponentially from the pooling of resources, those with the most to gain were both companies’ clients and candidates.

“From a client/candidate perspective it’s a major benefit as they will now be able to have immediate access to a huge pool of prime international hospitality and travel candidates/employment opportunities at all levels,” he said.

Mr Marshall said The Hospitality Company, as an established specialist recruitment firm with a very solid reputation, provided TMS with a perfect fit in the Gulf region.

“The company is to the Middle East what TMS is to the Asia/Pacific region, both companies have similar, strong synergies and both companies are extremely focused on service delivery and client retention.”
