Zak Goldsmith gets ‘Good Egg’ award from Considerate Hoteliers
Trenython Manor in Cornwall has won the top accolade at Considerate Hoteliers ‘Hotel of the Year 2014’ national awards -celebrating environmental, sustainable and socially responsible performance
International Considerate Hotel of the Year Award 2014′ goes to the Park Hyatt Hadahaa Resort Maldives
Considerate Hoteliers, Suppliers and Judges gathered for a grand luncheon at The Langham Hotel, London to celebrate the best in environmental, sustainable and socially responsible performance within the UK as well as the International hotel industry.
First time guest of honour, Zac Goldsmith, received the ‘Good Egg’ Award which Considerate Hoteliers awards to those who have inspired and encouraged others to embrace environmental, sustainable and socially responsible performance.
John Firrell, co-founder and out-going CEO of Considerate Hoteliers says: "It was an honour to have such an illustrious figure as Zac Goldsmith amongst our guests this year. We are delighted to have awarded him with the ‘Good Egg’ as he represents everything we believe to be ‘considerate’ in a person, and does so in the public eye, therefore acting as a beacon for others to hopefully follow"
The other eight winners of the prestigious annual Considerate Hoteliers (CH) ‘Hotel of the Year Awards’ – were duly honoured during a Gala lunch highlighting each and everyone’s efforts and initiatives in all areas ‘considerate’:
UK Considerate Hotel of the Year 2014

International Considerate Hotel of the Year 2014
Park Hyatt Hadahaa (Maldives)
There were also awards for Considerate Marketing Initiative of the Year,
Considerate Champion of the Year, Considerate Green Team of the Year, Considerate Housekeeping Team of the Year, Considerate Hoteliers Food Supplier, Considerate Hoteliers Non-Food Supplier
Director of Marketing at Considerate Hoteliers, Xenia Hohenlohe comments that "Each year entries get more sophisticated, the standards on sustainability rises and creativity plays a huge role for hotels to find their own ‘considerate’ strategy.
