Top ten US tourist destinations led by New York City
New York and San Francisco came up as the most popular tourist destinations in the US, based on travelers research patterns on VirtualTourist.com.
The other top ten included Las Vegas, Chicago, San Diego, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Naples, Austin and Boston.
Up-and-coming US destinations included Savannah, GA, Monterey, CA, Moab, UT and Lahaina, HI.
VirtualTourist.com analyzes the research activities of its more than 725,000 registered members to determine what will be the most popular, and what are the most up-and-coming travel destinations around the world.
