Tourico Holidays expanding vacation rental inventory
Wholesale travel brokerage Tourico Holidays has significantly added to its vacation home rental inventory and expects to increase it further by 10,000 units in the US alone within the next month.
Rolled out in March 2014, Tourico’s ‘book by the door’ vacation homes inventory covers all key ski, beach and city travel destinations in the US with real-time pricing and availability functions.
"Travel agents can now sell villas, cottages, condos and chalets at unbeatable prices, and with a margin of up to 20%," said Steve Caron, vice president of vacation rentals at Tourico Holidays.
"Travelers stay at a personalized home at prices as low as $38 per night, and agents have another convenient, marketable product at their fingertips."
"By increasing our domestic inventory of ‘book by the door’ rentals, we’re providing travel agents an opportunity to provide greater satisfaction to their customers and sell a product with high margins," Caron added.
The company says it now offers agents access to 25,000 vacation homes, alongside traditional hotels, cruise lines, attractions, activities and car rentals.
