Tourism Fiji and Air Pacific name Ogilvy to helm PR effort
Tourism Fiji and Air Pacific have announced the appointment of Ogilvy Public Relations as their PR representative in the US/North America.
Ogilvy will be promoting both brands through traditional media relations, social/digital communications and consumer marketing initiatives. Ogilvy will also be producing support to enhance the brands through events, trade shows, partnerships and sponsorships.
Dave Pflieger, managing director and CEO of Air Pacific and chairman of Tourism Fiji said that the agency would be promoting a number of key developments in 2013 including a complete airline re-brand from Air Pacific to Fiji Airways and a re-branded airline logo wrapped around three new Airbus A330-200 aircraft due in March, May and November 2013.
The unveiling of the new aircraft brand is set for October 10, Fiji Day. the national celebration of independence .
