Tourism WA seeking Head of Media and PR
Tourism WA has announced that is seeking candidates to fill a very senior role in the organisation, the Head of Media and Public Relations
The Job description specifies Tourism WA’s purpose as developing, promoting and protecting Western Australia’s iconic tourism experiences and the Head of Media & Public Relations will lead Tourism WA’s public relations function ensuring that the brand is presented positively and accurately in the media.
The Head of Media & Public Relations will direct a team of professionals in utilising public relations to promote WA as a worldclass destination and will also develop and implement communications strategies across a range of issues critical to WA’s tourism industry.
To succeed in this role candidates will need substantial public relations and team leadership experience, demonstrated success in managing stakeholders and outstanding communication skills.
