Agents putting together rail itineraries for clients can now use booking site thetrainline.com to find and book European inter-city train tickets.

In conjunction with Rail Europe, the trainline.com will offer information and tickets for travel on SNCF’s TGV services, Deutsche Bahn’s ICE, Thalys and overnight services.

The site will also offer details and booking for the InterRail pass which allows rail travel in 29 European countries.

Those heading off to the ski slopes in resorts across France, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany and Andorra will now also be able to buy tickets through the site.

Head of Partnerships at thetrainline.com Omid Golshan said: “At thetrainline.com we believe taking the train is the most convenient, cost efficient and carbon friendly way to travel – and now the scope of what customers can book with us online is even greater, meaning we can help them to make even more savings on their train travel.”
