Transglobal digs in for Anzac Day
Transglobal Destinations has released five Anzac Day tours, combining the essential Anzac sites with Turkey’s cuisine and ancient temples.
All tours start in Istanbul with three tours returning to that city while the other two finish at Ephesus and Marmaris where connections are available for ferries to Rhodes and beyond for a Greek islands experience.
Orient Express Travel Groups’ product development manager, Denise Dodd said the Rhodes option provided scope for travellers who did not want to return to Istanbul but continue to a new destination.
The tours range from seven days to 13 days and are priced accordingly from $990 to $1,555 per person twin share.
Package prices include Anzac Day dawn service, four-star hotels with private facilities, breakfast and dinner most days, licensed guides, tranfers, luggage handling and local taxes and charges.
Pre or post accommodation is available from $187 per person twin share, per night or from $150 for single.
Lead-in tour is the seven day Gallipoli Diggers Tour which visits Troy, Pergamum and Asklepion as well as Gallipoli while the comprehensive 13-day Anzac and Turkey Delights tour visits Hellespoint, Kusadasi, Ephesus, Pamukkali, Cappadocia and Ankara.
Transglobal Destinations has a 42-page brochure offering full touring throughout Turkey along with Gulet Cruising and tailored special interest tours.
