Travel Advantage subscription program launched by South Carolina’s Post and Courier

Friday, 27 Jun, 2025 0

Private-label membership and loyalty platform Custom Travel Solutions (CTS) has inked a strategic partnership with South Carolina’s largest newspaper The Post and Courier.

It will provide exclusive travel services and benefits to its readership.

The Post and Courier boasts 2 million+ online readers and a print circulation of approximately 1.8 million monthly.

Post and Courier Travel Advantage is a travel subscription platform powered by CTS.

This new service marks a key milestone in the newspaper’s entry into the travel space, following the successful launch of their reader travel program, where subscribers can travel alongside Post and Courier journalists on curated trips.

CTS says subscription-based revenue models are becoming increasingly valuable, offering stable and predictable income in industries experiencing declining traditional advertising revenues.

It enables Post and Courier to boost subscriber satisfaction, retention, and foster a loyal customer base by offering exclusive travel benefits.

The partnership allows both companies to explore new markets while delivering value to their members.

Through the Post and Courier Travel Advantage platform, members will enjoy tiered membership packages with access to unique benefits, including:

Accommodation options: Over 3 million properties worldwide, including hotels, villas, apartments, and vacation rentals at custom prices (including resort weeks for under $500/week and private homes).

Car Rentals, airport transfers, and trains: Access to discounted rates on transportation.

Tours and activities: Over 25,000 niche tours and 40,000 activities.

Cruise itineraries: More than 45,000 cruise itineraries across 27 cruise lines.

In addition to these travel offerings, Post and Courier Travel Advantage members will have access to:

VIP airport lounge access

On-ground medical assistance

Emergency medical evacuation

Flight, medical, and luggage insurance

Luggage storage

Shopper discounts

Loyalty points that can be earned and redeemed on the platform

CTS’s Best Price Promise ensures that if members find a lower price elsewhere, CTS will refund 110% of the difference.

Additionally, CTS provides 24/7 customer support via phone, WhatsApp, email, and chat.

“We’re excited to partner with The Post and Courier to bring this incredible travel offering to their readers,” said Mike Putman, CEO & Founder of CTS.

“This partnership exemplifies how a trusted and established organization like The Post and Courier can monetize its membership by providing unparalleled travel benefits.”

Chris Zoeller, Chief Opportunity & Marketing Officer of Post & Courier added: “We know many of our readers across the state are passionate travelers who are always looking for unique ways to explore the world. We’re broadening access to exclusive travel offerings that go beyond what they can find elsewhere.
