Travel Buddy signs up Holidays4U
Travel Buddy has signed a deal to offer its mobile texting services to Holidays4U customers.
The move means the Turkey specialist’s customers will receive pre-departure text messages detailing itineraries, emergency numbers, flight alerts, weather reports and events in the destination they are heading to.
Travel Buddy commercial director Jason Rivolta said: “Offering customers a complete end to end SMS service during the booking flow allows smaller specialist travel companies to get involved in mobile. The Travel Buddy service is completely tailored for Holidays4U not only to offer a value added service to their customers but also to help generate revenues pre departure and in destinationâ€.
Holidays4U managing director Karen Vyse added: “We see our partnership with Travel Buddy being a great benefit to our customers, allowing us to communicate useful information direct to their phones. It also allows us to build valuable relationships with our customersâ€.
Travel Buddy now has proprietary content for over 1200 destinations. It has deals in place with Thompson, First Choice and Co-operative Travel.
