Travel industry adventurers chosen for once-in-a-lifetime charity trek
Heather Richardson, marketing and editorial manager at luxury travel and safari specialist Jacada Travel, and Matt Gill, sales manager at Travel Bulletin, have won the chance to join a once-in-a-lifetime fund raising trek in Nepal.
They were the lucky travel industry employees chosen by ballot to join the iconic Himalayan trek to the famous base camp at the foot of Mount Everest, the world’s highest mountain.
The trip has been put together by the Family Holiday Association and adventure travel company Exodus.
Entrants needed to commit to raising at least £3,000 each in sponsorship and pay an initial registration fee of £250 per person.
The money raised will be split equally between two charities – the Family Holiday Association and the Exodus Nepal Earthquake appeal.
