Travel Show Marketing Group Announces Fall Travel Agent Forum: Owners Edition

Wednesday, 25 Jun, 2020 0

(Boston, MA – June 24, 2020) Travel Show Marketing Group (TravelSMG), North America’s leading independent event organizer focused on the B2B travel agency channel has launched the debut Travel Agent Forum: Owners Edition, set to take place November 16 – 19, 2020 at Moon Palace Jamaica in Ocho Rios.  This exclusive appointment-based event will feature critical business-to-business supplier meetings, agency owner focused content and additional in-destination opportunities.

"Travel Agent Forum: Owners Edition joins TravelSMG’s growing portfolio of solution-based programs for suppliers and sellers alike.  While our portfolio has always attracted a diverse audience, we’re seeing exponential growth in the number of agency owners in attendance.  On average, these owners have upwards of 22 independent contractors or employees working in an "at home" environment, and many with higher than standard annual sales.   The Owners Edition will bring suppliers together with travel sellers with decision-making power, helping to streamline their engagement efforts and spend, while maximizing potential ROI.  And, agency owners will have a platform to discover ways to fine tune their business initiatives and walk away with an actionable plan", said Jim Cloonan, President and CEO, TravelSMG.

Supplier representation will be on a global level, with vacation products such as hotels and resorts, cruise lines and tour operators amongst many other commissionable products along with business and technology providers and other resources designed to maximize agency efficiencies.  Positions will be limited to 100 supplier companies, with further limitations in categories and/or destinations.  All spots will fill on a first-come, first-served basis.  Benefits will include private one-to-one business meetings with owners, access to collaborative educational sessions as well as networking experiences and unique sponsor level marketing visibility.  Suppliers interested in exhibiting should contact Jennifer Fernandez, SVP Events at [email protected] or via telephone at (718) 979-1952.

Participating travel agency owners will take part in a diverse educational line-up, including intimate owner-to-owner brain trust sessions and important private business-to-business meetings with supplier partners.  The Forum is an invitation-only program that will offer limited hosted positions for qualified agency owners.

Applications for these hosted positions are now open.  Travel advisors interested in being considered must be agency owner level with three or more employees or independent contractors and must be in business for a minimum of three years.  Agency production as well as other important factors will also be evaluated as part of the selection process.  Travel advisors interested in being considered can apply here: https://www.taforumownersedition.com/owner-attendee-application/
