Air travel companies had a good day on the equity markets yesterday, despite the computer glitch that grounded hundreds of flights.
Ryanair led the way, notching up an 18p share price rise to 311.25p, British Airways climbed by 4.5p to 253.5p, and BAA was up 6p to 549p. The FTSE 100 index closed up 12.6 points at 4,435.4, but the FTSE 250 was down 5.3, ending the day at 6044.9.
