Travel industry shares has a tough time of things yesterday in falling markets, with MyTravel the only sector share to make headway.

On the back of disappointing results from several blue chip companies, the FTSE 100 index fell 45.4 points to 4240.2 – a decline of 1.1 per cent – while the FTSE 250 fell even further, dropping 82.7 points to end the day at 5630.7.
