TravelManagers signs consultant number 70
Representative of what General Manager, Don Beattie said is proving a “period of exponential national growth”, TravelManagers Australia has today signed up its 70th consultant.
The new TravelManager is Adelaide-based Vanessa Garcia who becomes the second South Australian consultant to join the organisation in as many months.
Mr Beattie said the signing of the 70th, a major milestone for any member-based organisation, was indicative of the appeal the TravelManagers model held for a wide swath of travel industry professionals – and particularly those looking for a work/lifestyle balance.
“Vanessa is typical of these. She’s a very experienced travel consultant but she’s also a devoted mum. The TravelManagers model allows her to combine both,” he said.
Mr Beattie said that while TravelManagers had been launched a little over two years ago, the company’s growth had really taken off in the last 12 months.
Attributing this success to several factors, Mr Beattie said the key element had been TravelManagers proven ability to lure back professional travel experts who had left the industry for various reasons, predominantly family/lifestyle.
“The TravelManagers model, and the point of difference it offers over other similar concepts, holds great appeal to these professionals,” he said.
“It gives them ready access to an attractive source of income that combines well with their lifestyle requirements.”
