TravelMole’s big cruise debate takes place tomorrow
Only a few places remain for TravelMole’s Travel Industry Question Time on the cruise industry.
The final Question Time of the year is being held at ABTA’s Newman Street headquarters in London tomorrow (December 6) between 15.00-17.00.
The future of the cruise sector will be the focus of the event which has attracting high-profile speakers from organisations including P&O Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, Island Cruises, and Amadeus, which is also sponsoring the event.
The panellists include David Dingle, managing director, P&O Cruises; Robin Shaw, managing director – UK and Ireland, Royal Caribbean; Patrick Ryan, managing director, Island Cruises; William Gibbons, director, Passenger Shipping Association; Elaine Seeto, director of marketing, Amadeus UK and Ireland and Kevin Ivie, managing director, 1st4cruising.com.
TravelMole CEO Graham McKenzie of said: “December’s Travel Industry Question Time will focus on the dramatic rise in popularity of cruise breaks – as we near the peak post-Christmas booking period we’ll ask the question whether this growth can be sustained in 2006’s deeply competitive market.
“Our panellists will consider a host of questions including: the factors shaping the future of the sector, how the industry can diversify to meet the niche demands of its customers, how travel agents can sell cruises in the future and the impact of dynamic packaging on the sector.”
