Traveltek, Digitaltravel team up for consortia cruise website development
Traveltek has entered a strategic partnership with Digitaltravel.io to roll out an innovative consortia solution for cruise websites.
The two companies already collaborate on bespoke app and website solutions to over 40 leading travel partners.
These include Celestyal Cruises, Imagine Cruising and Flight Centre.
This new initiative takes the partnership to a new level targeting the host agency market in the US and consortia members across the globe.
The platform, built by Digitaltravel.io, utilises GraphQL API and headless CMS technology.
This works in combination with Traveltek’s Cruise API & newly launched product ‘Agent Connect’ platform as well as the existing iSell solution.
The platform delivers a cost-effective solution for travel agents, starting from $200pm for a fully bookable customer facing cruise website for members of industry groups.
The white label is customisable to match the branding of the travel partner and features the cruise lines of their choice.
The collaboration speeds up the time to market for deployment of the website to just days for Traveltek clients.
The platform is scalable for consortia groups.
Cressida Sergeant CCO, of Traveltek said “We see a massive demand for this type of product capability with enquires already from the Americas, Australia and the UK.”
“The alliance with digitaltravel.io makes perfect sense for us, widening our product offering in the market.”.
“Providing this scalable ‘self-managed’ consortia platform for Traveltek adds additional depth to our partnership as we grow our market presence,” said Peter Whittle, CEO at Digitaltravel.io.
