Travelzoo head of sales joins HolidayPirates
HolidayPirates has appointed Nicholas Cooper as head of market UK.
He joins from Travelzoo where he was head of travel sales.
"I’m thrilled to finally be part of the HolidayPirates team. I have been watching the platform’s growth via social media for some time now and its concept and mission has always intrigued me," he said.
"I am looking forward to applying my skills and experience to further enhance an already effective concept."
Cooper will oversee a team of 11 in the UK, the second-largest market HolidayPirates after Germany.
The company has offices in Berlin, London, Seville, Boston and Lyon as well as a tech centre in Belgrade.
CEO David Armstrong said: "We are proud to welcome Nicholas on board, who apart from having a fantastic track record in sales and business development, will also bring along his vast experience in team leadership within the travel industry."
