Tribute debuts in California with Riviera Palm Springs rebrand

Tribute, Starwood’s newest collection of independent hotels has announced the signing of its first location on the US West Coast.
 
The landmark Riviera Palm Springs in California will join the brand following a multi-million dollar upgrade, which includes the addition of a new pool bar and wedding pavilion.
 
The main hotel lobby will also undergo an upgrade.
 
"The Riviera Palm Springs, with its memorable design elements and distinctive list of services and amenities, is a perfect addition to the Tribute Portfolio brand," said Dave Marr , global brand leader, Tribute Portfolio. 
 
"We look forward to working with the new owners and are excited to give our SPG® members access to this magnificent resort in the classically chic destination of Palm Springs."
 
The hotel features 398 rooms, an 11,000 square foot spa with 18 treatment rooms, signature eatery Circa 59, bars and lounges. 
 
The property, which lies on a 21-acre site in downtown Palm Springs, will be known as Riviera Palm Springs, a Tribute Portfolio Resort.
