TripAdvisor launches French language website in Canada
TripAdvisor has announced the roll out of a new French language site in Canada, at fr.tripadvisor.ca
It will display TripAdvisor traveler reviews and travel content in French and mirrors TripAdvisor’s English language site for Canada, which launched in 2009.
"We’re excited to launch our new French language site in Canada to better serve the millions of Canadians who speak French as their primary language," said Stephen Kaufer, CEO of TripAdvisor.
"As we continue to expand our presence worldwide, it’s important to offer a localized experience for our community of travelers."
The desktop website is now live and the mobile version is expected to be rolled out later this year.
TripAdvisor websites are available in 28 languages in 45 different countries worldwide.
