Tropical Sky goes down under
Long-haul tour operator, Tropical Sky, has launched a dedicated programme to Australia.
Called Australian Sky, it will offer a range of holidays across the Australian states, including self-drive, escorted tours, beach breaks, city stays and special interest or activity-based holidays.
The venture is being headed up by Chris Hawkins, who joins as director for the dedicated Australasia team.
Hawkins, who founded and runs Blue Lizard Travel, has joined up with his former colleague, Mike Collins, founder of Tropical Sky, to head up the Australia, New Zealand and Asia divisions.
“This is the first Australian website to offer definitive guidance areas for both first time and repeat visitors, featuring a number of popular and lesser known tours and holidays,†said Hawkins.
“Australian Sky aims to make the ordinary holiday, extraordinary, encouraging all visitors to venture beyond the well trodden routes, even if just for a few days.â€
Prices start from £999 for a five-day Sydney to Melbourne coastal drive tour including flights from the UK, accommodation and car hire.
