TTD: CWT in Amadeus e-Travel Management distribution deal

Monday, 02 Jun, 2006 0

Carlson Wagonlit Travel has gained global distribution rights to Amadeus’s e-Travel Management online booking technology.

The travel management company has been certified as a global reseller of the system, complementing its CWT Horizon online booking tool in North America.

Preferential pricing is being offered for clients dealing directly with CWT to obtain access to the system.

CWT president and CEO Hubert Joly said: “Companies can save up to 10% of their total travel budget by adopting online booking.

“CWT’s expertise in online implementation and optimisation, coupled with the reliability and ease of use of an online booking tool like Amadeus e-Travel Management allows us to drive rapid online adoption on behalf of our clients.”

Amadeus marketing vice-president Ian Wheeler said: “The benefits of online business travel management are most clearly felt when the technology is closely integrated with professional travel management services.”
