TTD: Viewdata move by Anatolian Sky
Anatolian Sky Holidays has made its programme available on viewdata and frozen 2007 prices at current rates.
The Turkey and North Cyprus operator believes most agents still use viewdata despite it being old technology.
Managing director Akin Koc said: “It may be old technology but viewdata is still the place where most agents make most bookings, so we are pleased to offer them this time-saving service.”
Agents need to email the operator at [email protected] to receive a viewdata password. Then by keying ASKY# they will be able to make bookings.
As an incentive to encourage bookings on the system, the company is giving away a holiday to Turkey for the first agent to make five bookings via viewdata.
Anatolian Sky has also pegged 2007 prices at current levels until September when it is likely prices will rise due to fuel surcharges. The operator’s brochure for next year is also due out in September.
