TUESDAY ASH ALERT – EasyJet suspends UK flights
EasyJet has cancelled flights to and from the UK until 01.00 tomorrow (Wedneday).
No flights will run in North Europe until that time due to uncertainty of the ongoing closure of air space in large parts of the region.
"Safety is the airline’s top priority and we are working closely with regulators and the Government to ensure we can resume flying as soon as possible," a statement said.
A limited number of flights will continue to operate in Southern Europe.
Passengers who are booked to travel are advised to visit easyJet.com before travelling to the airport.
