TUI hails success of third party training
TUI claims to have seen a "huge amount of interest" in its online training modules from third party retail agents since the launch in August.
The training, split into five modules, focuses on Thomson and First Choice’s differentiated product.
So far, over 562 agents have completed all five modules and a further 174 agents are half way through, said TUI.
The training educates agents on Thomson’s Sensatori and Couples, First Choice’s Holiday Village and SplashWorld as well as Thomson and First Choice’s Long Haul product. It also introduces agents to TUI’s differentiated hotel concepts.
General manager of in-house and third party sales Max Mason said: “We are delighted with the response to our new training programme. We hope agents have found it useful and have now got to grips with the differentiated holiday packages that Thomson and First choice offer.
"Differentiated product is a key part of our strategy going forward. We hope that this training will equip agents with the knowledge they need to sell more of our unique and exclusive holidays. For those agents that haven’t yet had a chance to complete the training we would encourage them to do so as quickly as possible so not to miss out on our incentives.”
TUI UK has set strict pass rates and participants must score 100% to be successful. Agents that pass all five of the modules will be entered into a prize draw to win an Apple package worth over £600.
