TUI to support customers with more accessible travel options
TUI UK has teamed up with AccessAble to offer clearer accessible travel options for limited mobility customers.
AccessAble has surveyed thousands of shops, tourist attractions, restaurants and hotels in the UK.
Their website and app is used by over five million people each year.
AccessAble already partners with Marella Cruises to provide accessibility information.
Its trained surveyors will be conducting a mixture of in-person and remote-guided accessibility surveys in hotels from TUI’s portfolio.
The results will be used to create Detailed Access Guides, which will be available to agents and customers through AccessAble’s website and app.
Accessibility surveys will start in April and will continue throughout the year.
Sue Bradley, Director of Customer Experience Delivery, said: ”We want to widen the opportunity for customers with disabilities to enjoy TUI beach holidays overseas.”
“This partnership will help our customers to make an informed decision whether a hotel will suit their needs.”
