TUI UK extends AOL partnership
TUI UK has extended an online partnership to provide holiday content to AOL for two years.
Through Thomson.co.uk, the operator’s destination and video content will be incorporated onto the AOL portal.
The agreement extends a partnership which was originally forged five years ago.
In addition to Thomson.co.uk booking engines being placed on various locations throughout the travel channel, a ‘Where’s Hot’ tool allows users to locate destinations within their budget and flight timings.
An ‘Inspiration Page’ motivates users to try somewhere different with off the beaten track holiday suggestions; and the introduction of ‘Beach Features’ gives them information when making travel decisions.
“The addition of Thomson.co.uk video content sets the AOL travel channel apart in the market and highlights the determination of the online portal to provide its users with the best possible services across all channels,” an AOL statement said.
TUI UK affiliates manager Pete Norwood said: “The addition of our video content and improved user interaction features allows us to reach out directly to the AOL user base and showcase the breadth of product now available on Thomson.co.uk”
