Tune Hotels: Three million and counting
Tune Hotels has registered three million guests since the opening of its first hotel in downtown Kuala Lumpur in 2007.
Last week the budget hotel company launched its maiden property in Thailand with the official opening of Tune Hotel Hat Yai.
Tune Hotels now operates 14 hotels globally – 10 in Malaysia, two in Bali, one in London and one in Thailand.
By March 2012, five more Tune Hotels are scheduled for opening, including a second London hotel at Liverpool Street; Pattaya in Thailand; and three locations in the Philippines – Angeles City, Cebu and Ermita, Manila.
The new hotels will add around 1,000 more rooms, bringing total Tune room inventory to more than 3,000.
Thirty Tune Hotels will be opening globally, including India and Australia, in the next 12 months.
