TVTimes publisher to use Adprecision
Search technology company Adprecision’s AdTarget Publisher search engine is to be used by IPC Media on myholidayideas.com, the TVTimes destination website.
The vertical market search advertising platform will allow the sales team to sell contextual and search advertising across the website.
The AdTarget system allows websites to create their own vertical market pay-per-click search engines ranging from travel to property, electronics, photography and motoring.
Adprecision commercial director Alasdair Cross, says: “Like other publishers that we talk to, IPC Media wanted the freedom to sell their own search and contextual classified advertising directly to customers. Our technology has allowed them to build a travel vertical advertising market giving them the control and revenue they need and providing a valuable user experience.”
IPC advertising director Chris Templeman said: “Adprecision’s technology enables us to extend our long-standing relationships with advertisers onto myholidayideas.com. The technology also delivers highly relevant advertisements targeted to our users’ interests, leading to increased site loyalty and satisfaction.”
