Two directors resign from luxury operator
Luxury tour operator Western & Oriental is revising its board structure following the departure of two of its three non-executive directors yesterday.
Alan Barber, chairman of the audit committee, and Pamela Harper, chairman of the remuneration committee, resigned with effect from Thursday.
The company, which has been listed on the AIM market since March 2006, said details of its revised board will be announced shortly along with its preliminary results for the year ended September 30.
Barber joined Western & Oriental in January 2007 and Harper in July 2006.
Chairman David Howell said: "I would like to thank both Pamela and Alan for their contribution to the board and their kind support over the last few years."
