Two new Sheraton hotels for China
Starwood Hotel & Resorts’ Sheraton brand has expanded its footprint in China with two new openings.
Starwood announced new Sheraton properties in Zhengzhou, the capital of Henan Province in Central China and in Xishuangbanna, marking Starwood’s debut in Yunnan Province.
Sheraton Xishuangbanna Hotel has 326 guestrooms and suites and features indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, spa, restaurant and 2,478 square metres of meeting space.
The first Sheraton branded property in Zhengzhou comprises 361 guestrooms and suites with a Sheraton Club Lounge, fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and spa.
"We are thrilled to debut the iconic Sheraton brand in Zhengzhou," said Catherine Han, General Manager of Sheraton Zhengzhou.
"We look forward to connecting guests in the region and introducing the comforts of our signature brand programs."
Zhengzhou has a rich history dating back 3,600 years and features a variety of attractions including UNESCO World Heritage Site Mount Song.
