U.S. Tours Co-ops with Cleveland & Chattanooga to Drive Group Business
U.S. Tours has partnered with the Convention & Visitor’s Bureaus of Cleveland, Oh. and Chattanooga, Tenn. to market two distinctly unique tour packages for groups.

The multi-prong marketing approach includes full page ads which will appear in the April and June editions of Leisure Group Travel magazine, direct mail follow-up from inquires, and featured positions on the firm’s popular website, www.ustours.biz

According to Bob Cline, President of U.S. Tours, “co-operative advertising and marketing opens doors for everyone – we simply could not spend this much money to market a single destination, but when we cooperate with CVB’s like Cleveland and Chattanooga we are able to give an increased amount of exposure to a unique tour package. The end result is that it delivers buses to that destination.”

The Tennessee package features “The Choo Choo’s of Chattanooga.” This tour title is one that U.S. Tours has promoted at trade shows for the last few years, but it has never seen national exposure such as this. “We are thrilled to be a part of this package that showcases our train history and our other great attractions. When we all work together, we find we can do more, get more exposure and make a difference in our advertising,” stated Shelda Rees, Director of Tourism for Chattanooga Area CVB.

The advertising partnership includes the Chattanooga Area CVB, Holiday Inn Chattanooga Choo Choo, Ruby Falls, Rock City, Incline Railway, Southern Belle Riverboat, the Tennessee Valley Railroad and U.S. Tours. Through this co-op, each party has a chance to pitch their product in a commercial tour package, to a much larger audience at a fraction of the cost. And, it is the most trackable form of advertising available.

The Cleveland package is titled “Rock N’ Roll Ralphie.” This two night three day tour features the play “A Christmas Story” at The Cleveland Playhouse along with visits to the Christmas Story House, the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame and a Chinese Turkey Dinner. Advertising partners include The Cleveland CVB, Cleveland Playhouse, Rock n’ Roll Hall of Fame, the Hampton Inn Downtown and U.S. Tours.
