Uber hacked by teen
Uber said it appears no personal customer data was accessed after getting hacked again last week.
The ride-hailing firm said it took several internal systems offline as a precaution.
Investigations found ‘no evidence that the incident involved access to sensitive user data.’
Uber services were operating as normal.
The FBI is reportedly investigating the incident.
The culprit apparently announced the hack on Uber’s internal Slack app
“I announce I am a hacker and Uber has suffered a data breach.”
The hacker who said he was 18 years old, gained access to other internal systems.
Uber has been hacked before and was fined millions for failing to disclose it.
Data on 57 million drivers and riders was comprised.
