More than 600 delegates have signed up for this week’s UK Cruise Convention in Dover.
The three-day Association of Cruise Experts-organised event will provide an opportunity for travel agents to hear the latest news and trends within the industry; visit cruise ships in port; attend business seminars and trade fairs; and hear from industry leaders.
The third annual cruise convention comes against a backdrop of ten cruise ship launches this year and a further 29 planned over the next three years.
ACE director Andy Harmer said in advance of the event opening on Wednesday at the Dover Cruse Terminal: “The key to success is ensuring the customer is matched with the right cruise for their requirement and this is where travel agents play such a significant role.
“ACE is here to provide the all important training and education so that we continue to see a successful industry.”
