Power loss strands riders at Universal Studios Hollywood
A group of at least 11 riders had to be rescued from a malfunctioning ride at Universal Studios Hollywood. A power outage left them stuck on the Transformers ride. The outage also impacted the Harry Potter ride.
Fire Department crews carried everyone off safely without any injuries. The outage seemed to affect a small section of the park. Universal Studios Hollywood said it was caused by a ‘brief power dip’ from power utility So Cal Edison.
