Universal’s Epic Universe theme park to open in ‘a couple of years’
Universal Orlando’s upcoming new park Epic Universe will open in ‘a couple of years’ according to a new update from NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell. It will be Universal’s largest ever theme park.
Epic Universe will have attractions based on Illumination (makers of ‘Despicable Me’ and ‘The Secret Life of Pets’) and DreamWorks Animation characters, as well as Nintendo. It had previously announced plans for a Nintendo-based land.
Universal stopped construction on Epic Universe in spring 2020 due tthe pandemic but it has since resumed again.
