Key Travel has made a move into the US by acquiring a Washington DC-based travel management company.
World Travel Management will operate under the Key Travel brand together with UK and Belgian offices.
The deal, for an undisclosed sum, will enable the UK-based TMC to provide an increasingly international travel management service to major non-profit organisations.
Chief operating officer Steve Summers said:“Many of our major customers operate in multiple regions around the world and want access to the same specialist content and service levels that Key Travel currently provides.
“We believe this acquisition allows us to better serve our existing customers, as well as opening up new opportunities in North America.
“The WTM team has a loyal base of customers and staff and we look forward to developing a strong presence in the US non-profit sector.”
