US Airways expands European network
Two new routes will give US Airways 13 non-stop transatlantic flights to European destinations next summer.
The carrier is to serve Philadelphia from Barcelona and Venice in addition to seasonal services from Dublin, Shannon and Glasgow, bringing the airline’s European network to 13 destinations.
The first flight from Venice to Philadelphia will begin on May 10, and from Barcelona to Philadelphia on May 17.
Flights from Dublin, Shannon and Glasgow will resume on May 8, May 9 and May 15, respectively.
All seasonal flights will operate on a daily schedule until October 30 using 203-seat Boeing 767-200ER aircraft configured in two classes.
