US diving group visits Castaway
The Mole met with group of a dozen US divers on Castaway who said that they had enjoyed some of the best diving they had ever experienced in the world.
Scott Schmidt, the leader of the group who is setting up a business taking divers to superb locations said that this group were all friends and had dived together in other locations previously.
He added that the diving in Fiji was superb and some of the clearest they had ever experienced and ……….. they would be back!
The group was large enough to require not only a regular seaplane but also the much larger Twin Otter to ferry them back to the mainland.
The images below show their farewell from Castaway: –
Nothing like a pre departure conga and sing along!
All the staff turn out to sing and wave good bye.
Even the Resort Operations Manager, Steven Andrews helps carry the bags!
“Today ladies and gentlemen, we will be boarding off the left pontoon”!
Dual runway operation??
