US to open land border crossings for Canadians next month
The US will reopen land border to Canadians from next month. Rep. Brian Higgins says restrictions will be lifted next month for fully vaccinated Canadians but no specific date has been disclosed.
Proof of vaccination will be required at the border point and Higgins says further details about other requirements and a start date may be announced later today.
About 80% of adult Canadians are now fully vaccinated. Canada started welcoming fully vaccinated Americans in August.
