US Travel wants no restrictions for vaccinated travelers
Airlines and other tourism groups are pushing government officials to grant travelers exemption from testing when entering the US if they have been vaccinated. This is essential to kick start inbound tourism, say Airlines for America, the U.S. Travel Association and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
They also want the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to publically state that vaccinated people can travel safely. These measures will help speed up the recovery of the travel industry.
"The time to plan for and chart a defined roadmap to reopen international travel is now," they wrote in a letter to the White House.
